Day in the Life of Program Manager
The Fluke Program Management Office is seeking a Program Manager to drive business growth by applying program management skills. Reporting to the manager of the PMO Delivery team, you will own process discipline, leading cross-functional, geographically dispersed program teams through scoping, securing resources, setting program targets, and holding self and the team accountable. The role will be responsible for leading the team through program management practices as well as supporting all project coordination tasks. The role requires a person who is comfortable communicating at all levels of the organization, managing conflict and tradeoffs, and enabling cross-functional clarity and execution.Responsibilities
Leads team to create and update schedules/action plans and drives the crucial conversations necessary. Leads team by identifying when countermeasures are needed and leads team through countermeasure execution.
Defines project Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and understands how they impact the larger Fluke-wide metrics. Can accurately track KPIs to support the high-level KPIs in the organization.
Able to identify when countermeasures are needed and can lead trade-off discussions /impact analysis to resolve including risk mitigation plans. Can lead teams through pivots when needed.
Creates and manages budgets for projects of medium to high complexity. Tracks the status of the budget and communicates to leadership. Problem solves out-of-budget requests - challenges unplanned spending.
Leads project stand-up meetings, owns communicating to leadership and to team with coaching, able to apply the basic visual management tools (Build Measure Learn (BML) schedule, issue tracker, risk register).
Utilizes the Project coordinator tools and uses them appropriately through project execution to include:
Works with team to develop and maintain Bill of Materials (BOM) to include compliance and marking requirements.
Learns and use the ERP and PLM systems to ensure smooth and timely production handoff by managing and promoting parts to an active state when ready.
Work with Product Managers to create model numbers, SKUs, product names, and other collateral.
Support ECOs, new item creation, deviations, first article approvals, and part revisions.
Learns and uses ERP and PLM systems, Jira, and Oracle systems to perform jobs.

A minimum of 3+ years of experience developing system-level products, which include electronic hardware, embedded firmware, and application software in a fully integrated system.
Demonstrated ability to inspire collaborative team execution including leadership of geographically dispersed cross-functional development teams.
Proven experience in risk management and change management.
Experienced in Change Management and is able to commit, advocate and lead through change.
Excellent written and verbal communication to all levels of the organization with appropriate urgency. Understands team dynamics and acts as a liaison between cross-functional team members. Able to lead stand-up meetings and leadership communications.
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
PMI/PMP certification a plus
