Your role

  • Manage a team of 3, responsible for onboarding for Global Financing Services, Exchanged Traded Derivatives & FXPB
  • In addition to management of the team you will also be responsible for directly onboarding clients onto our platform
  • Work with stakeholders (Sales/Senior Relationship Managers/Client office) to provide transparency, be an effective point of contact, drive commercial and growth opportunities
  • Partner with the stakeholders on prioritization of new and organic growth opportunities to ensure successful client launches
  • Single point of contact for our clients to help navigate the firm
  • Strategically drive the value chain, incl. credit, legal, know your client, & operational infrastructure to ensure we are representing the interest of the client and delivering best in class
  • Be accountable for ensuring onboarding requirements are captured, understood and delivered end-to-end, utilizing internal and external project timeline and that the client remains fully informed and expectations are managed
  • Be responsible for proactive communication with existing clients for service level performance / status of ongoing product and service level improvements (broker reviews in conjunction with client service)
  • Work with global team to drive consistency in procedures and implement a follow the sun model to ensure a seamless client experience
  • Continue to work with product development and technology to identify any gaps as it relates to the transition process, provide both tactical and strategic solutions
  • Proactively identify and manage risks and ensure timely escalation and closure of risk items
  • Challenge internal control functions e.g. know your client / anti money laundering to drive the right results for UBS and our clients
  • Manage audit, risk, and regulatory requests as they pertain to onboarding
  • Represent UBS in relevant industry forums and in meetings with our Regulators

Your team

Your team would be part of the Client Hub organization within Global Markets, which includes Client Service, Connectivity and Transition management teams. Client Hub provides optimal service experiences to Global Markets clients, from the point of onboarding and technical integration through to post trade. The Client Hub teams ensure an efficient, effective, and optimized experience for our Clients. The Transitions team is the primary point of contact for all clients to deliver best in class onboarding. The team is integral to ensuring i) the timely onboarding of requests, ii) excellent client experience and iii) best practices as it pertains to vendors and UBS’ platform offering.

Your expertise

  • Proven experience in Prime Brokerage Transition Management people leadership role and a minimum of 5 years in a PB onboarding role
  • In depth product knowledge within Prime Services (Equities, Swaps, Fixed Income, Futures, OTC Clearing)
  • Strong client relationships across APAC entities
  • Senior Internal stakeholder management experience
  • Experience of working seamlessly with Relationship Managers & Account Managers in the PB space
  • Good understanding of the legal documentation and trade connectivity as it relates to prime brokerage & exchanged traded derivatives
  • Track record of challenging partner functions/internal control functions at a senior level
  • Experience in designing & monitoring KPIs in relation to performance
  • Track record of designing and implementing Target Operating Model, Process and Technology change to improve productivity/reduce risk
