We are looking for a VIE as Procurement Tender Manager for our site in Vienna, AUSTRIA

Your Role:

  • Coordinate, consolidate, and secure Sourcing activities, performance & efficiency on the whole Tender

  • Define Tender Procurement strategy

  • Lead commitment reviews with Buyers based on their Sourcing commitment sheet, taking into account the Commodity Sourcing strategies in the Tender

  • Consolidate the Sourcing commitment in the tender phase and the preliminary supplier list

  • Propose and push savings based on the Product competitiveness improvement plan, and/or Tender idea generation

  • Propose a risk register, incl. a mitigation plan, to be assessed with the Tender team

  • Build the material costs into the calculation tool

  • Prepare and present the material commitment (Quality- Cost- Delay) during the governance meetings


Competencies & Skills:

  • Master in purchasing or equivalent (engineering, project management…) or similar experience

  • First experience (Project, Procurement, Engineering, Quality…)

  • Interest in technical fields and ability to challenge

  • Team spirit and communication skills

  • Results-oriented, rigorous and structured

  • Ability to work with stakeholders from different metiers/ functions in an international environment

  • Fluent in English is mandatory, German would be a plus

  • Advanced with Excel

  • Play hard while having fun!


Details of the Volunteers for International Experience (VIE) program:

  • Assignments are open for citizens of European Union countries between 18 and 28 years, who have fulfilled the military service obligations of their country
  • A VIE assignment will be in a country other than that of the applicant
  • Set up by public sector statute in France, managed by the Business France organization
  • Assignment lasts from 6 to 24 months, renewable once within a cumulative limit of 24 months
  • Compensation (non-taxable) linked to the cost of living index and set by Business France: 2 627,33 € in Austria
  • International social protection is extended to eligible parties
  • 2.5 days of holiday per month
