University of Galway seeks a Director of Internationalisation to lead on the delivery of its global ambition. This post, Director of Internationalisation, will drive forward the realisation of this vision, alongside the Vice President International, through collaborative working across our Colleges and Professional Services particularly focussed on global partnerships, global student recruitment and global student experience opportunities.
We are seeking someone with a real passion for the internationalisation of Higher Education and significant experience of successful strategic leadership and global engagement.
Through our Global Galway Project we have significantly increased the resourcing of our international vision and strategy over the last 3 years. This has led to a step change in our internationalisation activities including a major expansion of our International Office. The post will be for circa 3 years in the first instance pending a review of the International Office roles in 2025 and the approval and implementation of a longer-term structure.

Salary:
